About Wildwood Therapy
Wildwood Therapy was founded to help clients find healing and feel more at-home within themselves. The practice’s name speaks to the therapeutic process, it can be wild, with twisted roots, branches with thorns, overgrown, and hard to see. It can also contain awe-inspiring beauty, a sense of pride for overcoming challenges along the way, and newfound confidence in our abilities.
We often start the healing process feeling lost, unsure if we’ll ever feel better. Or maybe when life has knocked us down and we don’t know which way to go next, maybe it feels too hard to keep going. If any of these resonate with you, I’m glad you’re here.
As a therapist, I work as a guide for my clients. I do my best to help you get in touch with that deep knowledge of what you need to do to heal by providing space to explore and helping you dig deeper. I offer myself as a witness to your story, your life, your experiences, and as a mirror to your inherent worth.

Everyone is different, and there’s not a “right” time to begin. If you’re considering therapy, it may be a good time. Curiosity is always helpful in therapy. There’s no need to wait until there’s a crisis or things are unbearable. Some of the best work happens when we are feeling safe and in a good place. Of course, sometimes we know it is a good time to begin, we’re in crisis or recently lost someone, or we’re struggling to function. Whatever your circumstances may be, I’m glad you’re here.

While every client is different and needs vary from person to person, I recommend meeting weekly at first while we build our therapeutic relationship. It takes roughly 10 sessions to establish a sense of safety relationally, so the sooner we can get there the better and really dig into the work you want to do.
